Landscape

A mountain and a lake. A love so pure...blah, blah, blah. Prisma.

Ghostly

This one went south at some point, and just didn't make its way back.

The red head only turned out slightly better. It's a bummer when the juices don't flow the way you want them too.

Poop Tart

This one's really deep. You gotta think about it. Really. Prisma Marker, India ink, Nexus Sketch Pens, Colored pencils, pastesl, and chalk...

Minty Fresh

Text is done in Photoshop...the rest is prisma...as usual.

420

No, I did not partake of today's "traditional" festivities prior to producing this. I was inspired by this guy's stuff, and just couldn't help myself. It's fun to let loose every once in a while.

Fun with Post-its

Three "plus" sized post-its. Although I hate being on conference calls at work, it does give me the oppurtunity to draw some. Something a bit more polished as well...I believe my prisma marker may be needing replacement soon. This particular one has served me well for the last six years though...so the 3 bucks is probably worth it.

On a bridge

Two dudes on a bridge looking to kill one another. Hooray.

Gun Girl

I suck at coloring and inking (particularly digitally). Here are the three steps of a digital pic...it only gets worse as I progress.

Down to the wire

Didn't think I was going to make anything worth posting before midnight, but I came in under the wire. I guess. It's not great, but I kinda like the sense of light in it. More of Trayas. This is done in Prisma Marker...

sculpture

This is an idea for a casting that I am considering doing in aluminum. It will have to wait until I am in the new house though. Ever since announcing we would be buying a house my wife and I have been given tons of hand me downs...the garage is completely full, and there is simply no space for art to take place!

More Schlock

I'm sure I'll draw something worthwile sometime soon.

Quickie

Only time for a quickie tonight. Wow its a sucky one too.

More from the comic that hasn't been

More playing around with my character Trayas. Even put backgrounds in these sketches. The gore one is a bit more violent than I'd normally do, but I just bought some paint and felt like playing with it.

Batman

Can't take credit for the concept of this drawing at all. Its a total rip of this amazing artist I just found surfing. His stuff inspired me so much, that I knocked this out in a couple of minutes. His is digital, mine is good old fashioned watercolor pencils and india ink.

Irregular

My wife and I are buying/building a house, and much of this week was spent doing errands surrounding that...some of which were physically taxing. Therefore little time was spent doing anything artistic. Mostly action studies in stick figure format. Whee!

No Computer for you

My wife had to use the computer tonight during the time I usually alot for drawing. (I usually draw at the same desk)...so just a crappy doodle for today. But I was diligent and doing something to post...that counts for something, right?

Yesterday...today...blah

Small offering from yesterday and today. I did manage to draw characters in an environment. Not a particularly impressive environment...but its something.

Sticking with it....

I suck at sticking with it even more than I suck at drawing landscapes. Maybe I will try again tomorrow...
