long time no blog

Been really busy doing nothing lately...or at least I don't have any art to show for my time. Here is a doodle in Sumi-e ink (which I wish I had discovered sooner, this stuff is fun!) and watercolor...

I've been really enjoying making these lately. I had this little hand bound leather sketchbook with paper made in Tibet or some shit....anyway it was just sitting around because despite its coolness, it was simply too small to actually draw anything. Turns out its the perfect size for these doodles that I end up doing all the time anyway.

Lack the patience

I lack the patience to be a comic book artist, though it has remained a life long dream. Doodled these out on scrap paper and composed it in photoshop. 20 minutes or so to do.
